I bought this Citizen in hope that I would be using it on holiday this year, but plans have changed so have decided to part with it. The watch is new and not been used, only tried on. So the the condition is new.
I like the fact that this Citizen Diver's watch is ready at anytime to take a depth reading up to 70m, and it will record your maximum depth using an additional hand. It also features a submerge warning alarm which is very useful, thus making this a very practical secondary device.
Being it's Diver's rated, means it's a true Diver's watch and meant for the waters. Solar driven which includes a sub-dial that displays the battery's power reserve, that same dial also shows when it's either in adjustment mode, or when in the water. On the left side, there is a water sensor that automatically detects water, then arms itself into Dive mode, without touching a button. The pushers are screw down, along with the crown. The lume is strong, and I like that the dive hands are in blue, and the dial and main hands in green. The bezel is unidirectional and clicks 60 positions, which to me is what they all should be, and there is no back play at all with this bezel, one of the finest i've tried. The overall build is excellent, and expected form the Citizen Diver's range.
There is also an extension for the strap, depending on the type of suit you're wearing, and looks like there's plenty to wrap around any arm and suit. I'm pleased it has hardened mineral crystal, especially for a true Diver's watch, as this to me is much stronger and less brittle, and I must add, the AR coating is incredible, sometimes it looks like there's no glass, so expect good visibility all the time. The watch looks big, but when worn, the lug to lug makes it fit better, and it seems more of an optical illusion when in the box. I've seen the other colour combo's, but the Pepsi just looks the best, and the blue urethan strap is nice and thick, and feels very soft, yet feels strong, using a sensible buckle with fitment.
Keeps great time considering it's only quartz, and I must add, the second hand hits every marker spot on, so all very calibrated from Citizen. The dial has some fine metallic effect, and I like how it changes with the variant of blue, sometimes looking black, and the depth in the dial is really something that attracted me the most, and it consists of 6 hands in total. Very clever piece of engineering, and the fact that as soon as you hit the waters, it'll start the depth gauge. Please use the photos as part of the description, and everything you see, will be posted, unless my lightbox and wall paper brick effect.
